🗳 It's a Yes! 🗳

Thank you to everyone who voted in the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on Thursday. With a resounding 90% in favour of the plan, it has been adopted!

A huge thank you to everyone who has been involved in researching and writing the Neighbourhood Plan over the last 5 years, especially Rob Jones, Chair of the Neighbourhood Planning Committee, supported by our Parish Clerk. 

Finally, thank you to everyone who took time to vote on Thursday. With a turnout over 53%, that's an amazing amount for a Neighbourhood Plan referendum! 

Thanks also to everyone who has taken part; by responding to our surveys, being part of the Committee or attending one of the listening events.

Your vote matters!

Along with elections for Borough Councillors, Charvil residents have the chance to vote in the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum today.

Your Parish Councillors will be on hand outside the Village Hall all day to answer any final questions you may have about the Charvil Neighbourhood Plan, or anything else you want to talk to us about.

Voting is taking place at Charvil Village Hall. Don't forget to bring your ID!
♻ Encouraging Sustainable Development ♻The next theme in our Neighbourhood Plan as we lead up the Referendum on Thursday 7th May:♻ Encouraging Sustainable Development The plan promotes environmentally sustainable development. New buildings are encouraged to be energy efficient and to incorporate renewable technologies where possible. 🌳 Protecting Green Spaces 🌳The next theme in our Neighbourhood Plan as we lead up the Referendum on Thursday 7th May:🌳 Protecting Green Spaces and the Natural EnvironmentGreen spaces and natural habitats are central to village life.
