Charvil Village Hall opened in May 1988, and serves the community and residents of Charvil and the surrounding areas as a superb venue for both social and recreational events. These range from the many clubs who use the hall on a regular basis through to administrative functions such as Parish Council and Committee meetings.

Already home to around 40 community groups, our 148 m² main hall is perfect for family events and parties. With well appointed kitchen facilities, and a separate 31m² meeting room, along with disabled access to the whole building, baby changing area, WiFi, and parking for almost 50 cars, we can facilitate groups of up to 200 people.

The Building Comprises

  • A Main Hall (9m x 17m), where it is possible to accommodate a bouncy castle up to 14ft high.
  • A smaller room (6.30m x 3.70m) known as the Committee Room.
  • A fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge and hot water urns, plus cutlery and crockery.
  • 47 car park spaces plus 2 disabled bays in our well-lit private car park.
  • 23 large tables (W 76.5cm by L 182.5 cm height 76cm) in the Main Hall
  • 10 small tables (W 76cm by L 91cm height 70cm) in the Committee Room
  • Guest WiFi throughout the building
  • Male, Female & Disabled WCs with baby change area

How the Hall is Funded

The target is always for the hall to be self-funded, based on the revenue generated by the various clubs and other users. In the event of a short-fall, any deficit would be made up by the Parish Council.
