exterior view of the pavilion at east park farm

First opened in July 2004, the Margaret Gimblett Pavilion came under the management of the Parish Council in 2016, and has quickly become a well-used local facility for a wide variety of groups looking for an inexpensive mid-sized facility.

Located next to the East Park Farm Playing Fields, the changing rooms are particularly well-used in winter months by footballers, and in the summer, it provides vital refreshment facilities for both cricketers and footballers. The hall area has quickly become home to a number of local groups and sports teams, and since 2017 the annual Village Fete has been based here.

In 2023, the Pavilion underwent extensive refurbishment, including upgrades to the changing rooms, kitchen and main hall

The pavilion can be booked for children’s parties and other daytime groups.
