Sports Pitches & Tennis Courts
Tennis
The tennis courts are used by holders of our Annual Tennis Pass, and the two hard courts are well-used throughout the year.
In 2025 the courts have been professionally cleaned, repainted and relined, and we’ve had new nets installed.
Tennis Passes can be purchased by completing the form below or by contacting the Amenities Manager via our Contact page.
Cricket & Football
The East Park Farm Sports Pitches came under the management of the Parish Council in 2016, and have quickly become well-used local facilities for a number of football and cricket teams.
Located next to the Margaret Gimblett Pavilion, the changing rooms are particularly well-used in winter months by footballers, and in the summer, the building provides vital refreshment facilities for cricketers.
In 2023, the Pavilion underwent extensive refurbishment, including upgrades to the changing rooms, kitchen and main hall.
Field
When not being used for sports, our pitches are used for a number of community events, most notably the Annual Village Fete
How the Sports Facilities are Funded
The target is always for the facilities at East Park Farm to be self-funding, based on the revenue generated through the hire of our facilities. In the event of a short-fall, any deficit would be made up by the Parish Council
