The countdown to the Charvil Village Fete is on!

The 2026 Charvil Village Fete, is taking place on Sunday 6 September 2026 from 2pm–6pm at East Park Farm Playing Fields. The event will be officially opened by the High Sheriff of Berkshire, Ren Kapur MBE.

This year’s event will feature a fantastic mix of attractions, including live music from local band Side Project, a petting zoo from Basil & Crew, bouncy castles, climbing wall, singing from the children of Charvil Piggott Primary School, bottle tombola, book swap, local community stalls, food and drink vendors, classic cars and much more. As usual there will also be some amazing prizes on offer in our charity raffle and silent auction.

For something a bit different this year, we are excited to see the first Charvil Dog Show, organised by popular local charity My Cancer My Choices. The fete organisers are also delighted to be supporting four other wonderful local charities: Smart Works Reading, Me2 Club, Share Wokingham and Camp Mohawk, the latter of which was selected by pupils from the primary school. There will be plenty to keep all ages entertained throughout the afternoon.
